چکیده
Nano/micro-plastics pollution is an emerging global concern. A variety of biodegradable polymers have been synthesized to enhance the degradation plastic materials and thereby avoid their accumulation in environment. However, even can accumulate environments under specific conditions present a potential hazard. Here, antimony sulfide-based microrobots decorated with magnetite nanoparticles are designed for microplastics degradation. The propulsion enabled by two independent orthogonal physical modes via magnetic field light irradiation. Due phoretic interactions, exhibit affinity toward poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) poly(lactic acid) (PLA) microplastics, which enables subsequent transport transversal rotating field. photocatalytic activity Sb2S3 quantum material provides ability degrade UV irradiation “on-the-fly” regime without need any fuel. This proof-of-concept work shows efficient capture, transport, paves way elimination, especially water environments.

Photocatalytic Degradation of Acetaminophen
The photocatalytic degradation of a common analgesic (acetaminophen) with titanium dioxide irradiated with low energy ultraviolet light (365 nm) was studied in order to determine the effect of several parameters such as catalyst’s weight, photochemical effect, and initial concentration. The results indicate that acetaminophen is degraded in the order of 4% by the photochemical effect. The prese...
متن کاملThe styrene photocatalytic degradation reaction
In this study the aqueous styrene photocatalytic degradation reaction was evaluated using TiO 2 P-25 (Degussa) as catalyst. The experiments were accomplished in a batch reactor, with temperature control and catalyst in suspension. The radiation source was a 28 W UV lamp. Determinations of styrene concentrations were done by gas chromatography with a flame ionization detector (FID). Preliminary ...

The phenol photocatalytic degradation was investigated using heterogeneous catalyst Ag-doped ZnO nanowires under UV irradiation. Ag-ZnO nanowires were immobilized on borosilicate glass via a simple hydrothermal technique. Preliminary photodegradation studies were performed with Ag-ZnO nanowires at various concentrations of phenol (10 60 mg/L) at undiluted pH. After determination of the optimal ...
